Information We Collect

• The text you type describing your situation, sent to receive AI guidance
• Guidance history saved on your device (your question and the AI's response)
• App usage data (number of daily AI requests and the date), used only to enforce the daily free-use limit

The app does not ask for your name, residence card number, address, or other directly identifying information. However, the situation text you choose to type may include personal details you provide voluntarily. All guidance history and usage counters are stored locally on your device (SharedPreferences) and are not stored on our servers.

What Is Sent to Claude API (Anthropic)

The AI situation guide feature sends the text you type to Anthropic's Claude API through a Cloudflare Workers proxy operated by the developer, in order to generate step-by-step guidance. Only the text you enter is transmitted; the app does not send your name, device identifiers, or location. The developer does not store the API key inside the app — it is managed on the proxy side. Data sent to Claude API is processed according to Anthropic's own privacy policy. We recommend not entering sensitive identifying information (such as your full residence card number) in your situation text.

Japan Life Guide displays no advertising of any kind. We do not share user data with any third-party ad network (such as AdMob).

How to Delete Your Data

All guidance history and usage counters are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes this data. If you would like help deleting specific data, contact us at the address above.
