About Ads
This app displays ads via Google AdMob, including a banner at the bottom of the screen. Free AI matches are limited to 5 per day; once that limit is reached, watching a rewarded video ad unlocks 3 additional matches. The description you enter is sent to Anthropic's Claude API solely to generate your match and is not permanently stored on our servers.
Roadmap
- Photo-based matching from an actual tsuba or sword-fitting photo
- Regional deep dives (Kyoto, Higo, Owari workshop history)
- Seasonal motif spotlight (autumn maple, spring cherry sukashi designs)
- Additional language versions
Why This App
Tsuba look decorative but were built as a working signal system: metal, technique, and motif told a knowledgeable eye which school made it and what kind of warrior carried it. Tsuba Crest starts from something anyone can describe in a sentence - themselves - and turns it into a real matched design school, a real motif, and an honest explanation of the craft tradition behind both, turning a familiar sword-guard photo into a small, accurate piece of history.
