About Ads
This app displays ads via Google AdMob, including a banner at the bottom of the screen. Free AI matches are limited to 5 per day; once that limit is reached, watching a rewarded video ad unlocks 3 additional matches. The wish text you enter is sent to Anthropic's Claude API solely to generate your match and is not permanently stored on our servers.
Roadmap
- A browsable map of real shrines known for each wish category
- Seasonal ema designs tied to zodiac years and New Year visits
- Shareable wish cards for friends and family abroad
- Additional language versions
Why This App
Ema are photographed constantly and understood rarely - most visitors know they're for "wishes" but not that the wish category, the shape, and even the shrine itself are supposed to line up with a specific tradition. Ema Wish starts from something anyone can describe in a sentence and turns it into the correct tradition, the correct etiquette, and an honest explanation of the horse-offering history behind it, so the plaque means something before it's hung.
